1. Launch of website for Nuclear Abolition Day, June 5th
ICAN has now launched a website for Nuclear Abolition Day- www.nuclearabolition.org.
On June 5th, thousands of people across the world will take part in coordinated local events for a Nuclear Weapons Convention.
The purpose of the actions, whether they’re large or small, is to demonstrate in a visible way that there’s overwhelming popular support for a nuclear abolition treaty.
June 5th is strategically an important time for us to act. It is the Saturday one week after the end of the NPT Review Conference.
It will be our opportunity to respond to the conference outcome all around the world.
We encourage you to register an event today and help to make this a truly global push!
- Register a Nuclear Abolition Day action
- Help spread the world about the day
2. 'Beating the Bomb' Film Benefit Night
Please come to a screening of 'Beating the Bomb' on 24th April, Prince Charles Cinema, London at 3.15 pm

About the film makers: Wolfgang & Meera began this project three years ago as a not for profit, grassroots initiative.
